Kimiya and Tyler’s proposal was all about family! Tyler got down on one knee at the Gazebo at Roessler Point in Palos Verdes but had a few surprises in store for after. He worked with Kimiya’s sister to plan the perfect proposal and knew that having their family there to celebrate would be important to Kimi. So not only were they there to celebrate minutes after the proposal, Tyler also planned a surprise engagement party! Keep reading to see how he pulled it all off!
Proposal at Roessler Point Gazebo
The first part of the evening was the surprise proposal. When finding the right spot, he wanted something that would provide a gorgeous backdrop for the pictures. The rugged cliffs and panoramic ocean views at the Roessler Point Gazebo provided a romantic atmosphere. Kimiya’s sister set up the Gazebo right before they arrived with white roses, balloons, and a Marry Me sign.
Tucked away across the street, their parents and friends waited anxiously, ready to come on over as soon as the proposal was over. As soon as she saw her family walk over, she started to cry, and she was so excited. And, of course, they had bottles of champagne ready to toast to the newly engaged couple! Everyone was in awe of her stunning emerald-cut ring, a show stopper.

Surprise Engagement Session at Chart House Redondo Beach
The couple headed to dinner at Chart House, but yet another surprise awaited Kimiya. Tyler had all their family and friends gather at Chart House for an engagement party, and she was so surprised and never saw it coming! As soon as she walked into the room and saw everyone there she got so excited and immediately wanted to show off her beautiful ring and share the story with everyone.
After saying hello to everyone, we walked down to the beach for a mini photo shoot. We walked along Redondo Beach as the sun started to set, and the golden glow was perfect for their pictures. The two were just beaming! Once the sun set, we returned to the party, where the couple toasted to their engagement, surrounded by their closest family and friends.
