Surprise Proposal in Palos Verdes

Is there anything more romantic than a Valentine’s Day proposal? Brandon proposed to Jackie, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, with the most stunning ring I’ve ever seen! Brandon called in the pros at Say I Do To Details to plan the perfect picnic proposal, and Jackie was so surprised. She never saw it coming!

I’ve photographed proposals by Say I Do To Details before and always love working with them. They can do a variety of styles, from large affairs, to intimate picnics for just the two of you (and me hiding in the background to capture it all!). When the couple arrived, they saw a picnic set up for them, with a soft rug, charcuterie board, chocolate-covered strawberries, and plenty of champagne to celebrate with.

Proposal Overlooking The Pacific At Roessler Point in Palos Verdes

Brandon chose the Gazebo at Roessler Point in Palos Verdes for the proposal. This scenic outlook is a popular spot for stunning coastline views that stretch from Palos Verdes to Santa Monica. This area also has a walkway to the beach, so we made sure to get some sunset beach pictures after she said Yes!

Jackie’s ring is so gorgeous! Brandon went to Zameer Kassam Fine Jewelry to create a one-of-a-kind ring. He wanted her ring to have an art deco feel, with different shades of green gemstones. Inside the ring, their sun signs are hand carved inside, a nod to their union.
