I love working with Kristi at Details Details. This planning team creates the most exquisite events, where every detail is looked after! So when they started to plan Elsa’s baby shower, I knew it would be gorgeous. I was so excited to photograph this special event. You might remember this sweet couple from their daughter’s second birthday party, which I also photographed last fall. Elsa and her husband Jerome love to host incredible parties, and their home is the perfect space for them.
The theme was a French garden filled with hundreds of blush roses, peonies, camellias, gillyflower, and cherry blossoms. The ceiling was dripping with cherry blossoms and greenery, which turned the covered pavilion into a garden. When guests arrived, they were greeted by a topiary giraffe with the sweetest blush bow. Two long tables, covered in lace embroidered linens, allow the guests to dine together al-fresco style. To tie in some texture, each menu had rattan details. The scalloped plates with blush-lined napkins completed the tables.

For food, they had their favorite Chinese and Vietnamese catering company, Furiwa. Guests enjoyed a fresh Peking duck carving station, steamed bay lettuce wraps, and dim sum. A fully prepped bar allowed guests to sip on champagne. Maison De La Fork filled the dessert table with macaroons, cookies, and cupcakes. The kids played in a bounce house as the adults ate and enjoyed the afternoon. I know this luxury baby shower will so inspire you! If you planning a shower, wedding, or event, reach out!
