An Elegant Wedding In The Star Ballroom at Allure

You will recognize this couple from their surprise proposal at the bluffs in Pacific Palisades! Toren proposed on Adella’s birthday, and it was the sweetest moment to capture. And I’m so glad I got to photograph their wedding! The couple worked with 3 Little Birds Event Planning to plan their dream wedding at Allure in Van Nuys.

Glamorous Details and an Emotional First Look

The couple got ready at Adella’s family home, allowing both wedding parties to enjoy the morning separately, but close to one another. Adella got ready with her bridal party, as well as her mother, mother in law, and grandmother. It was really important for the couple to have their closest family with them, and I loved capturing all of the sweet moments between everyone! Especially Adella’s first look with her brother, who also walked her down the aisle.

Adella was a vision of classic beauty in her satin ballgown, featuring a timeless bateau neckline and satin buttons adorning the back. To complement her dress, she wore a sparkling silver rhinestone tiara. Additionally, Toren was sophisticated in his three-piece black tuxedo, paired with a bowtie, perfectly matching the formal ambiance of the day.

We had their first look and portraits at the home, in their perfectly manicured lawn. This tropical oasis, adorned with majestic palm trees and lush gardens, created a beautiful backdrop for their portraits, as well as portraits with their wedding party and close family.

A Traditional Jewish Ceremony in the Star Ballroom

The ceremony took place inside the Star Ballroom at Allure Banquet Hall. While the aisle had two large floral-covered arches, the focal point was the beautiful Chuppah covered in soft draping and fresh roses. The combination of traditional Jewish elements and opulent floral arrangements created a breathtaking setting for Adella and Toren’s union.

An Elevated Reception

The choice of Allure Banquet Hall’s Star Ballroom proved to be the ideal setting for Adella and Toren’s wedding. This venue effortlessly blends a modern Renaissance aesthetic with a touch of Hollywood glamour, with large crystal chandeliers that create an opulent and romantic ambiance. The LED lighting has a customized feel, allowing the couple to match the colors of their wedding theme or personal style.

Their florist, LC Florals, brought the garden indoors and added a soft, whimsical touch. Vintage books, vibrant greenery, and butterfly accents added an air of fantasy to the ambiance. Outside, a birdcage with a swing invited guests to enjoy the charm of this whimsical wonderland. Every detail was thoughtfully crafted to create an immersive experience for their guests!
