I love shooting weddings and engagements, but I also love doing branding sessions! I recently got to photograph businesswomen and chef, Clija Chait! Clija is a restauranteur partner at Tesse Restaurant in LA and is soon opening a new Brazilian restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles. She is from Cerro Corá, Brazil, and loves using local flavor with a Brazilian flair. For her branding shoot, we wanted to capture her right in the kitchen. She used the kitchen inside Tesse Restaurant, which was the perfect setting. She made a Spanish Paella, while also filming parts of it for a TV show in Brazil. I loved being able to capture her in action, and her dish smelled amazing!
After the shoot, we went next door to Boutellier Wines. This wine shop is part of Tesse Restaurant and lets guests buy a large range of wines, from local to international. The black concrete with wood accents was such a modern backdrop, and worked perfectly with Clija’s awesome fashion style. She wore a low-cut tuxedo top, with a skirt and awesome black heels. It was such a stylish look! We also took advance of the large outdoor deck, for a few extra headshots. Thank you, Clija for letting me photograph you!
