There are always so many events happening in Los Angeles! And as a photographer, I love being able to shoot these unique and fun events, from workshops to red carpet award shows. A few weeks ago, Catalina Productions teamed up with The Unlikely Florist to host a plant workshop in LA, where attendees could pot their own baby plants. Catalina Productions put on some of the best events in Los Angeles, and have won multiple awards.
The space at The Unlikely Florist is one of the coolest in Los Angeles! This workspace is both urban and rustic. On the outside, it is a large steel warehouse, with large open ceilings and lots of natural light. Inside, the owner, Spencer, has created a warm and inviting space. Additionally, the walls are covered in hooks to hang dry flowers, and there are natural wood accents throughout. Up above, the modern light fixtures add some glow, complete with Edison bulbs. The large chalkboard is the centerpiece of the space, and for this event, it featured hand letting by Threeologie. The artist did it completely freehand! Found Rental Co. provided additional rentals.
When they arrived at the workshop, guests were greeted by Miffies Coffee Truck. This local coffee company is all about being eco-friendly. In fact, their truck is powered by plants, and they are the first exclusively vegan mobile coffee truck in California! It was the perfect fit for this eco-friendly event.
During the event, attendees not only potted their own plants but also got an expert tutorial on how to craft the ultimate bouquet! The best part? They then shipped them to a loved one, which was all tracked using the Route App. Lastly, attendees got to take home some awesome gifts from Amass.
