On a beautiful winter evening, Alexis and Tim said I do in Downtown LA, surrounded by their closest family and friends. This sweet couple is so much in love and couldn’t wait to celebrate!
They chose Johnathan Club in Downtown LA as their venue. This exclusive members’ social club was a perfect choice since it allowed guests to stay on-site and enjoy an incredible weekend together. Founded in 1894, this historic club is designed with European details, luxury amenities, and five-star service!
They wanted it to feel elegant and sophisticated but still have a pop of color for their winter affair. They chose red and black as their main colors and added burgundy garden roses and fuchsia orchids for some texture.
Alexis’ bridal bouquet featured white and red anemones wrapped with a satin ribbon. She chose an all-lace ballgown with sheer lace sleeves and a cathedral train trimmed with pearls. It was so elegant! Tim looked so handsome in his classic black suit, and the wedding party wore emerald dresses and black tailored suits.
Outdoor Ceremony On The Terrace at Johnathan Club
For their ceremony, they chose the Terrace, which gives a garden feel right downtown. Westwood Flower Garden created a beautiful garden design to soften the city feel, with large arrangements filled with fuchsia orchids and red roses. A classic white runner was laid down the aisle, and their backdrop was the venue’s greenery wall that was starting to bloom.
After an evening cocktail hour, guests headed to the ballroom for the reception. The incredible architecture and lavish chandeliers make this a one-of-a-kind space. Ornate hand-carved wood accents add richness, while the glow of candlelight made it feel romantic. The couple continued their palette of red and blush, with beautiful centerpieces adding a pop of color to the classic ballroom.
After a first dance under the candlelight, guests enjoyed an evening of fine dining and endless fun! Alexis and Tim had not just one – but two dessert options for their guests! The first was a beautiful cake with handprinted gold accents and fresh red roses. And the second was a donut wall, which made for the perfect late-night treat.
