A few weeks ago, I shared Jennifer and Rolando’s engagement session, and I’m so excited to share their wedding day! They got married last summer, in Los Angeles. The couple chose a palette of soft blush, sage green, and gold, which was such a great combination! Before the wedding, Ronaldo sent Jennifer a sweet letter, telling her how excited he was to marry her. It was a very sweet gesture, and such a beautiful moment to capture.
Before their ceremony at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels, we got bridal portraits around the grounds. This Cathedral in Downtown Los Angeles makes for beautiful portraits! We also made sure to get some pictures of her bridal party. The ladies wore soft sage chiffon gowns, with bouquets filled with roses. The flower girl had the cutest dress on, and was so excited! She had a custom made wagon, filled with flowers. She even wore a baby’s breath flower crown!
Their beautiful ceremony at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels was so personal and touching. The couple was so excited to say their vows in front of their family and friends! After saying “I Do” the guests headed to the venue for a celebration!
Reception at the Grace E. Simons Lodge
The reception took place at Grace E. Simons Lodge in Downtown L.A. Grace E. Simons Lodge is a beautiful venue nestled in a quiet park setting surrounded by gorgeous and luxurious landscaping. The covered pavilion hosted the cocktail hour, where guests could overlook the pond. There is even a bridge that crosses over a river, so guests can really explore!
The dancing and dining took place inside the lodge, where the team at Exceptionally Yours made sure no detail was overlooked! The heatable had gold sequin linens, with gold chargers throughout. Flowers were hung from the ceiling, bringing the garden inside. The couple danced the night away with their family and friends! Congratulations Jennifer and Ronaldo!
