A Garden-Inspired Gender Reveal & Baby Shower in LA

If you’ve been following along here, you know the team at Details Details can plan a truly incredible baby shower! It was a pleasure to team up with them and the Bloom Box Designs crew again to photograph this garden-inspired gender reveal and baby shower in LA.

From the lush floral arrangements to the adorable backdrop wall, it was a celebration to remember—not least because these parents finally discovered the gender of their precious bundle of joy! Their loved ones brought the celebratory energy, and it was just the most fun and pretty afternoon.

Backyard Baby Shower in LA

The parents-to-be hosted their baby shower and gender reveal at their beautiful home in Los Angeles. Kristi at Details Details transformed the space into a colorful garden with bouquet-making stations and hundreds of flowers. Picture buckets full of ranunculus, peonies, roses, Persian buttercups, delphinium, and lilacs! Bloom Box also provided the cutest giraffe topiary surrounded by more flowers. It all made for the sweetest gender-neutral baby shower theme!

An on-theme backdrop wall read “Baby in Bloom” and was the perfect location for photos of the parents-to-be and their guests. Even the cake by Peggy Liao looked like it was blooming, covered in colorful pressed wildflowers.
