Moody Boho-Chic Fall Wedding at The Culver Hotel

You may recognize Sara and Chris from their greenhouse engagement session! The couple chose the greenhouse location because they love gardening and boho-chic style. Accordingly, their fall wedding at The Culver Hotel was a boho lover’s dream, with dried flowers and a moody autumnal-inspired color palette. It was a gorgeous celebration from start to finish, set against the backdrop of the historic hotel. I’m so glad I was there to photograph it all!

A Moody Fall Color Palette

Sara and Chris selected a palette of moody fall colors for their boho-chic wedding, including cinnamon, rust, and dark forest green. Sara carried a stunning, textural bouquet filled with toffee roses, silver dollar eucalyptus, baby’s breath, and copper feathers. Meanwhile, the wedding party’s attire also coordinated perfectly. Sara’s attendants wore floor-length rust-colored gowns, while Chris’s wore dark blue suits with matching rust neckties.

Meaningful Family Moments

Sara shares close relationships with her dad and grandfather, so she wanted to make both part of her day. After changing into her wedding gown in one of The Culver Hotel’s elegant suites, she had both join her for a first look. It was one of the sweetest moments of the day! Later on, her grandfather was the one to walk her down the aisle. And, of course, she and her dad shared a dance at the reception!

Wedding at The Culver Hotel

The Culver Hotel is a sophisticated, historic venue in Downtown Culver City, perfect for any wedding or event. Sara and Chris held their ceremony in the hotel’s Grand Lobby and reception in the Crystal Dining Room, joined by 60 loved ones. Their candlelit reception dinner, held around one long, family-style table, had an intimate feel. Afterward, everyone headed to the Velvet Lounge for an evening of cocktails and dancing!
