Paris-Inspired Baby Shower at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna

This Paris-inspired baby shower at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna was to die for! Katie with A Prestige Planning and Kaylee with Bloom Box Designs collaborated to plan a dreamy afternoon celebrating Ara’s baby girl. Every carefully chosen detail brought the City of Lights to Los Angeles, from the show-stopping balloon arch to the dainty French pastries. Ara makes a beautiful mama-to-be, and I had a blast capturing her celebrating with her family and best girlfriends!

Paris-Inspired Baby Shower at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna

The intimate yet opulent feel of the Plaza Room at The Ritz-Carlton Laguna made it the perfect spot to host Ara’s baby shower. The room’s French doors open to a commanding ocean view that her guests enjoyed from the private half-moon balcony. Meanwhile, they could also grab a specialty cocktail garnished with fresh fruit from the open-air bar! Inside the room, classical touches including a crystal chandelier and white marble fireplace enhanced the Parisian feel.

The decor and food also contributed to the chic theme, with a croquembouche and a macaron-covered cake that looked almost too pretty to eat. Atop one of the cakes, a hot air balloon paid homage to the iconic Paris sight, a motif also featured in the guest table centerpieces. In addition, the Bloom Bar by Bloom Box offered a fun activity for the guests! Each could build a unique floral arrangement filled with lush ivory and pink blooms to celebrate the impending arrival of Ara’s baby girl.

I loved working with Katie and the team at A Prestige Planning on Ara’s special day! Katie has been an event planner since 2011 and loves to create stand-out celebrations. As a designer, she doesn’t just focus on the visual aspects of an event. Instead, she wants guests to experience it with all five senses! This concept came to life at Ara’s baby shower. Overall, the delicious food and fragrant florals made for a one-of-a-kind experience!
