Some events are extra special, and Ava’s Bat Mitzvah was no exception. This wasn’t just any mitzvah! Ava and her family hold a special place in my heart, and I was honored to capture such a memorable day. Not only is Jenna, Ava’s mom, an incredible event producer with TBX – Total Brand Experience, but her vision for Ava’s celebration, combined with the expertise of Say I Do to Details, brought this unforgettable event to life.

Formal Portraits

Before the party began, we started the day at Ava’s family home, where I photographed her with her parents, grandparents, and extended family. This is one of my favorite parts of any mitzvah because it’s such a perfect opportunity to gather everyone together for formal family portraits. Everyone is dressed to the nines, and these moments create timeless memories. As a mitzvah and event photographer, I always recommend setting aside time before the main event for these group photos. It’s a chance to slow down, enjoy the excitement of the day, and make sure we capture those meaningful family connections before the party takes off.

A Nightclub Disco Dream at Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club

Once the formalities were over, the real party to began! Ava and her friends danced the night away under the sparkling disco balls, sipping mocktails, indulging in the candy bar, and striking poses with fun props. The energy was electric, and everyone, kids and adults, had an amazing time.

Ava’s Bat Mitzvah burst with hot pink, disco vibes, and non-stop fun! The venue radiated energy, transformed into a lively nightclub with glittering disco balls hanging from the ceiling. A glowing candy bar, custom mocktails, and vibrant décor made every detail unforgettable. Personalized swag—custom hoodies, bags, and more featuring Ava’s name—added a fun, personal touch that perfectly reflected her vibrant personality.
