Photographing Sue and Jacob’s Italy destination wedding at Grand Hotel Tritone was a delight! This wedding was quintessential Amalfi Coast, from the beautiful cliffside venue to Sue’s blue toile-patterned wedding gown. The couple and their guests celebrated all weekend, beginning with a rehearsal dinner at a private home offering breathtaking views of the hills and coastline. It was truly a weekend to remember, and I’m honored that Sue and Jacob chose me to capture it!

Destination Wedding at Grand Hotel Tritone

The bride discovered Grand Hotel Tritone via Google search. She knew instantly that she’d found the perfect venue for her Italy destination wedding! Tucked among the seaside cliffs of Praiano, the hotel offers unmatched views of the iconic Amalfi Coast. Moreover, it’s ideal for destination wedding couples since guests can stay on-site. The family-run hotel boasts a private beach, two pools, several on-site restaurants, and a wine cellar stocked with local wines among its amenities. There are even bus stops outside to shuttle you and your guests into Praiano or Positano within ten minutes!

Wedding Reception at La Cala delle Lampare

After their outdoor wedding ceremony at Grand Hotel Tritone, Sue and Jacob hosted their guests for an al fresco reception at La Cala delle Lampare, a nearby restaurant. The restaurant’s name derives from the lanterns that local fishermen use to illuminate the seawater and coax fish to the surface—a practice guests can observe while they dine. However, the panoramic coastline view isn’t the restaurant’s only draw! The locally sourced food is also excellent, which was a top priority for Sue. She is the Director of Catering and Event Services at Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows, so providing a top-of-the-line guest experience was paramount.
