When it comes to dreamy celebrations, this princess-themed third birthday party takes the cake! Inspired by their daughter Scarlett’s love of the classic Disney characters, these parents pulled out all the stops to make her special day memorable. As their Los Angeles event photographer, I was there to capture every detail. Previously, I worked with mom Evelina to document her beautiful, floral-filled baby shower at Gucci Osteria!
Kristi from Details Details brought her signature touch to this event in collaboration with Bloom Box Designs and a team of talented vendors. Everything came together seamlessly under her direction, from the showstopping castle installation and colorful balloons to the whimsical custom refreshments. With activities for the kiddos and catering from Manny’s Coffee for the adults, this day was fun for everyone!
Princess-Themed Third Birthday Party
The family’s backyard set the stage for the celebration, with a beautifully manicured lawn and privacy from the tall trees. As guests arrived, a whimsical scene greeted them! The balloon installation by Ballonique Designs and the abundance of flowers felt like entering a fantasyland in princess-approved shades of lavender, pink, and gold. But the pièce de résistance was the custom castle built by Preferred Projects! It set a stunning backdrop for the event and framed the matching castle cake by Miso Bakes.
The tablescapes were equally gorgeous! Ruffled lavender plates and scallop-edged napkins printed with princess illustrations created a whimsical setting for each child. As the cherry on top, a custom iced sugar cookie by June’s Cookie Co. awaited them! Meanwhile, the Lolis Mini Pancakes bar—stocked with delicious, kid-friendly toppings like Nutella, strawberry jam, and whipped cream—offered another way for guests to satisfy their sweet tooth.
There were also plenty of activities to enjoy at this third birthday party. Little Artist Party provided a princess-themed craft for the kiddos complete with colorful paints, faux flowers, and miniatures of everyone’s favorite Disney characters. Scarlett and her friends also had the opportunity to meet their beloved princesses in real life, including Elsa, Anna, and Mirabel! And what child’s birthday party would be complete without a bouncy castle? It was truly a spectacular occasion, and I know it made little Scarlett feel so special. I would love to capture your next Los Angeles event!
