On a beautiful May afternoon, Christina and Luis said I do on an outdoor deck in Downtown Los Angeles, surrounded by their family and friends. While they did have to make a last-minute venue change due to the pandemic, it didn’t stop them from having a beautiful wedding filled with love and joy! While I love coastal views, I have a special place in my heart for Downtown LA!
The day started with the sweetest first look on the Pool Deck. Spend just a few minutes with Christina and Luis, and you can tell they are absolutely made for each other. I mean, just look at the way he looks at her!
Christina wore a beautiful tulle and lace ballgown with a sheer bodice and matching lace hair piece. Luis was so handsome in his all-black suit, with a touch of dark green with his tie. The color palette was pulled from the garden, with all white flowers and a splash of dark green. The bridesmaids wore green satin gowns and carried bouquets filled with white roses, mums, and a touch of greenery. It all tied together perfectly!
Ceremony and Reception at Bonaventure Hotel
The couple chose to get married at Bonaventure Hotel, at the Bonaventure Brewing Co. deck. This is such a unique spot in Downtown LA. It offers an urban feel, with skyscrapers all around you, but it has an intimate garden on-site that offers the best of both worlds. Their ceremony overlooked the garden, where the bushes bloomed and the palm trees swayed in the breeze. It was such a beautiful ceremony!
They wanted guests to enjoy the incredible view of the city at sunset for the reception. So they had the space turned into a reception, complete with a large dance floor! Intimate seating areas were placed throughout, with heaters on to keep the cool evening chill way. Even with the last-minute changes, Christina and Luis had the perfect wedding in Downtown LA. As you start planning your wedding here in LA or on the California coast, I would love to hear from you! We are quickly booking for 2023, so reach out today!
