When people think about hiring a professional photographer, they usually think of the wedding day. But the moments leading up to it? They deserve to be documented just as beautifully. Especially when they look like this!
This backyard engagement party in Brentwood was full of warmth, joy, and golden summer light. The couple embraced the idea of a celebration that felt laid-back but completely intentional. It was filled with cheerful yellow florals, creamy whites, fresh lemons scattered throughout, and fun personal details that made it uniquely them.
There were games set up across the lawn, including a custom beer pong table with “bride” and “groom” sides, plus a giant Connect 4 set that kept the guests entertained. A Polaroid station invited everyone to snap a memory for the guestbook, and signature cocktails (Spicy Margarita, Aperol Spritz, and Negroni) kept the energy flowing. Later in the night, a vintage heart-shaped cake and a churro cart brought the sweetest ending.
The design details were so thoughtful! From the daisy and sunflower arrangements to custom napkins featuring their dog, Leo. It was the kind of night that you want to remember forever. And not just with iPhone pictures! But with real, frame-worthy photos that show the laughter, hugs, toasts, and tiny in-between moments.
